The Competition Commission
An independent public body established by the Competition Act 1998, the Competition Commission replaced the Monopolies and Mergers Commission on 1 April 1999. They conduct in-depth inquiries into mergers, markets and the regulation of the major regulated industries. The site offers reports from as far back as 1950 and other publications such as press releases, rules and guidance documents.
