A new Supreme Court for the United Kingdom - Lecture by Lord Bingham of Cornhill

The questions he considers are as follows: should appeal to the supreme court be as of right or subject to the grant of leave? What should be the criterion for this granting of leave? Should all the Law Lords sit together to hear every case? How are the Law Lords selected to sit on particular appeals?
