Life as a CPE student - Mathew Gullick, left City 2002
Mathew's piece is really helpful in that it signposts each of the main issues that will come up doing a year as a CPE student. He discusses pupillages, interviews, mooting, prize essays and even the BVC. Mathew uses this piece to emphasise how key it is to use the year constructively. He's also too modest to say in his piece that he was winner of the Times essay prize in 2002, and of the Graham Turnbull Essay competition in 2003.
