The value of pro bono work - Sophie Albinson, left City 2004, now doing LPC
Sophie is a current CPE student at City who ,before starting the course, spent 10 months doing voluntary work at the Reading Citizens Advice Bureau. Her piece was written for Law Careers.Net where she recently won £1000 for a survey she filled in on that same site. This piece really highlights how rewarding voluntary work can be, as well as emphasising its importance in bringing alive the experience of what being a lawyer will be like.
