The Bar Access Group is composed of former City students (2003 - 2005) and was set up in 2004. Their concerns about the rising cost of a legal education and the consequent financial barriers to access to the Bar have lead them to survey over 2000 students, as well as put pressure on the Bar Council Education & Training Department, amongst others.
