Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority
The HFEA is a non-departmental government body that regulates and inspects all UK clinics providing IVF, donor insemination or the storage of eggs, sperm or embryos. The site offers information for both patients and donors. Of most interest perhaps are the organisation's publications (including the Code of Practice) and press releases, which include background papers on many topical issues including stem cell research and egg sharing.
