European Group on Tort Law

Established in 1993, the Tilburg Group who concentrate their efforts on harmonisation, by drafting a collection of Principles of European Tort Law. They recognise the difficulties this presents, particularly because of the widely differing systems in place across Europe, but aim to create something similar to that of the Principles of European Contract Law created by the European Contract Law Commission. The site explains their principles in some depth, whilst offering some useful links to documents through the materials tab.
